This project explores Sexual Literacy among college students. The researcher conducted focus groups and administered questionnaires to a convenience sample of students at Spelman College. In the focus groups, the participants shared their feelings about and experiences with sexual health. This information was used to develop a questionnaire. Survey respondents were asked to answer questions about their sexual literacy, self-efficacy, and attitudes towards sexual behavior. The goal of this study is to contribute to the body of literature in sociology about HIV prevention and sexual attitudes among Black Women in the United States.
